iPad vs. iPhone 4 – size comparison [infographic]
If you ever wanted to see how big is the difference between iPad and iPhone 4, check this simple infographic below. I created it with e-reading in mind – to show those of you who own iPhones, that reading books on them is possible – and there is absolutely no problem with the size, well, exactly, size of what?
People often say reading on a smartphone is extremely hard, because it’s too small. Saying “small” they think about the size of the font. Well, that’s not true. Every e-reading application available in the AppStore gives a possibility to adjust the font size. You can make it as big as possible.
The real problem people have is with the size of the phone. Smartphone as an object is just too small comparing to a typical printed book. We miss the weight and the space. We need books to physically take more space (be more important) at this mysterious time we devote to reading.
Well, since I started to read books on my iPhone, 4.5-by-2.3-inch is perfectly enough.
